Job Description

The role involves working closely with a skilled team to repair and maintain aircraft in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.

Aircraft maintenance is performed to the highest possible standard, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures as well as National Aviation Authority (NAA) Regulations.

Strong relationships are built with customers to enhance their overall experience and meet their expectations.

  • Maintain aircraft in accordance with relevant and current Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with the Quality & Safety Team to ensure aviation quality, safety, and compliance with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Assign and supervise tasks for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers allocated to the job and monitor their progress and paperwork.

The ideal candidate will hold qualifications on light and medium Bell, Airbus, and Leonardo model Helicopters, and must hold a current B1 or C license.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with workshop managers and other staff in a busy environment with strict deadlines.

Key Requirements:

  • Completed MEA40715 - Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with workshop managers and other staff in a busy environment.
  • Understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good computer literacy and experience working with aircraft maintenance programs.
  • Meet the requirements of the Company pre-employment drug and alcohol policy.
  • Provide a current National Police Check.
