Apprentice Painter

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Painter. As a key member of our construction team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Painter and Decorator.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist experienced painters in preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
- Apply paint using various techniques, including brushwork, roller application, and spray painting.
- Mix and match paint colours accurately to meet project requirements.
- Apply primers, undercoats, and paint coats to surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist with decorative finishes, such as faux painting, stencilling, or special effects.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, understanding their requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the Painting and Decorating trade.
- Must hold a White Card or be able to obtain one ASAP.
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport.
- Work Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Must be physically fit with the ability to work well in a team and take direction from others.
- Have an eye for detail and a steady hand.
- Be reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Paid TAFE block periods + Work shirts provided + Safety Equipment.
- Dedicated Field Officer assigned for full mentoring and support during your apprenticeship.

- A large network of Host Employers looking to host enthusiastic apprentices and help them become trade qualified.
