About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Reporting Consultant, Data & Analytics to join our Reporting & Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reports and analytics solutions that drive business decisions and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to senior consultants and analysts to support the delivery of multiple reports and projects.
  • Ensure the quality of analytics deliverables, including software code, model designs, data visualizations, and presentations.
  • Provide authoritative statistical and analytical advice to business partners, stakeholders, and senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and provide analytical services, including leading the design of statistical models and providing guidance on model outputs.
  • Lead people leadership, mentoring, and associated support to team members to increase capability and ensure delivery of defined outputs.
About You

You will be a seasoned data and analytics professional with a passion for making a difference, leading others, and delivering business value. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will enable you to lead multiple stakeholder engagement activities with corporate language. You will have a strong background in reporting and consulting, with advanced experience in data visualization and analytical tools.

You will also possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and provide innovative, efficient, and robust analytical solutions.
  • Proven ability to present insights statistically, visually, and in easy-to-understand language.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor team members, plan and schedule their activities, and check quality of deliverables.
  • Wealth of experience in leading analytical projects, including setting goals and deliverables, establishing success criteria, and defining key metrics of solution success.
  • A strong knowledge of and experience using data visualization and analytical tools in day-to-day work.
  • Advanced statistical, quantitative, and data modeling skills combined with a demonstrated capacity to innovate in developing solutions to business challenges.
Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as statistics, business, computer science, or actuarial science, paired with extensive relevant experience is desired.
