Hybrid Driver and Production Sorter

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and focused individual to join our team as a Hybrid Driver and Production Sorter. This role involves performing a variety of driving and depot duties, including delivery and collection of Hygiene and Sanitary products, loading and unloading of vehicles, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide great face-to-face customer service and interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Driving: Drive in the Newcastle metro and regional surrounding areas, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Delivery and Collection: Deliver and collect Hygiene and Sanitary products to clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are maintained, safe, and clean.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist in the production of confidential material, use production machinery, and perform pre-starts on machinery.

Requirements:

  • MR Driver's License: Hold a valid MR Driver's license.
  • Forklift License: Possess a forklift license (desirable).
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and willing to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Smart Technologies: Have the ability to use Smart technologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail and ability to follow service instructions.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate ability to work independently and within a close-knit team environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Selection Criteria:

  • Federal Police Clearance: Undergo a Federal Police clearance check.
  • Working with Children Certificate: Obtain a Working with Children Certificate.
  • Eligibility: Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia.
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment: Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to the position.
  • Immunisation Requirements: Meet appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID-19 vaccinations.
