About the Position
This role involves coordinating between operations and project management teams to meet client expectations. You will be responsible for providing regular updates to senior management on project progress, cost, budget, and scheduling for all projects. Key duties include:
- Liaising with suppliers to negotiate item details and pricing
- Raising Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with supplier quotations
- Coordinating material ordering and deliveries with Operations
- Ensuring adherence to relevant engineering standards, including material specifications
- Tracking project budgets and informing Operations Manager on project progression
- Preparing technical documentation, including MDRs, ITPs, safety manuals, and other relevant documents
About the Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a project-based environment. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field of study
- Experience in planning and schedule management
- Experience in manufacturing (highly beneficial)
- Experience working in a team-based environment
