We are seeking experienced Dragline Operators to join our team at our Saraji open cut mine, located near Dysart in Central Queensland, Australia. This is a significant coal mine with reserves of 648 million tonnes of coking coal.
The mine exports coal internationally to steel producers in various parts of the world, including India, the Americas, Europe, East Asia, and South Asia. As a Dragline Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of heavy machinery, working collaboratively within a team to achieve production targets, and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Dragline Operator
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to meet production targets
- Current RII Competency in Dragline and Dozer operations
- A minimum 'C' Class Driver's license
