About the RoleThe Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. This involves managing and improving customer's security governance, risk management and compliance framework. The role ensures adherence to Defense security regulatory requirements and develops security policies meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enforce security policies: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks as per regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular security audits: Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Identify and mitigate cyber security risks: Identify cyber security risks and implement security controls to protect customer's digital assets.
- Vulnerability Management and Threat Detection: Monitor and manage vulnerabilities and threats to ensure the security of our systems.
- Security Event log monitoring: Monitor security event logs to identify potential security breaches.
- Develop and maintain Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization (Accreditation) documentation suite: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure compliance and accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree in cyber security / information technology: A Bachelor's degree in cyber security or information technology is required.
- 5+ years' experience in Cyber security risk management / policy development/ governance: 5+ years' experience in cyber security risk management, policy development, and governance is required.
- Strong knowledge of security audit, documentation development, vulnerability management and security event monitoring: Strong knowledge of security audit, documentation development, vulnerability management, and security event monitoring is essential.
- Industry certifications like CISA, ISO Lead Implementer / auditor or similar are desirable: Industry certifications like CISA, ISO Lead Implementer/Auditor or similar are highly desirable.
