We are seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Technician to undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment, utilizing SAP work management processes in Newman, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development by adhering to company policies and procedures;
  • Maintain accurate records of corrective work undertaken and assist in planning for future maintenance activities;
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships through effective communication and consultation with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • Conduct system inspections both online and offline to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade certificate or qualification in an Electrical Discipline from a recognized institution;
  • A valid Australian C class driver's license for travel between work sites;
  • An A Grade Electrical License for the state of Western Australia;
  • Experience working in both domestic and mining environments.

Location and Benefits:

This is a full-time position based in Newman, Western Australia. Relocation benefits are available for successful candidates. The town offers a range of amenities, a revitalized town center, and proximity to Karijini National Park.
