Hasbro is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive strategic growth across Australia as the Sales Planning & Operations Manager. With a strong background in channel sales management, you will lead the development and execution of planning processes across sales forecasting, promotions planning, channel strategy, route to market strategy, new launch planning, and inventory planning.
About the Role- Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Analyse historical sales data and market trends to predict sales trends.
- Collaborate with supply chain and marketing teams to align inventory plans with sales forecasts.
- Lead cross-functional projects to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Planning & Operations- Work closely with account managers and brand teams to build, align, and track sales plans.
- Develop sales plans at the brand, channel, and SKU levels.
- Ensure sales plans are aligned with overall business objectives and track progress throughout the year.
- Plan sales promotions across channels with channel leads to drive sell-out and sell-in plans.
- Work closely with marketing teams to align sales promotions with the marketing calendar.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Develop and implement channel strategies to optimize sales and distribution.
- Work with marketing teams for brand and SKU strategies for channels.
- Identify new channel opportunities and work on route-to-market to tap into them.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in channel sales management, trade marketing, or sales development in the consumer goods industry. A strategic mindset, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write and deliver effective presentations, are also required.
