About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Protection Officer to join our Rail Operations team in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our rail network and personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with rail network standards and policies.
- Provide training and guidance to workers on safe working practices and protection arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of safety systems and procedures to ensure network rules and regulations are adhered to.
- Communicate effectively with signallers to ensure protection arrangements are in place.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the rail industry.
- Hold relevant qualifications, such as PTA and ARC Infrastructure certifications.
- Strong knowledge of trackside safety standards and operational procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
- Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
- Valid Driver's License Class 'C' or 'HR'.
