About the Position:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire lifecycle of new product development initiatives within our organization.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in new product development, preferably in a managerial role. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop a comprehensive new product development strategy
  • Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and product performance analysis to identify viable product opportunities
  • Develop business cases, including cost analysis, revenue projections, and risk assessments, to support decision-making processes
  • Define and implement an effective product development process, ensuring adherence to best practices quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, designers, marketers, and other relevant stakeholders in the development and execution of new product projects
  • Drive efficient resource allocation, project timelines, and milestone tracking to ensure timely delivery of new products to market

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 5 years in new product development, preferably in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge of market research, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to product development
  • Proficiency in project management software, collaboration tools, and MS Office suite
