Job Description

Bosch is seeking highly motivated Mechanical or Electronics undergraduate students to join our cross-domain computing solutions department on a part-time contract for 12 months. Our undergraduate student program offers flexibility around study commitments, includes work and social activities, and provides opportunities for development and growth within a multinational corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating external calibration packing and returns
  • Leading external calibration tasks and driving process improvements
  • Suggesting and participating in calibration improvement projects
  • Supporting the calibration process owner with process tasks and discussing metrological requirements with equipment owners
  • Assisting with problem-solving related to calibration issues
  • Attending quality and calibration team meetings

Requirements

  • Studying Mechanical or Electronics Engineering in year 2 or 3 of your degree or holding a diploma or technical certification in electronics or metrology
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and work well within a team with senior engineers
  • Strong interest in innovation and openness to opportunities to utilize learnings from your degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and ISO17025 standards (desirable)
  • Knowledge of metrology or experience with capability studies (desirable)
