Electrical Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Auto Electrician/Technician to join our team in Emerald, QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic Electrician/Auto Electrician/Technician who can provide on-the-job technical assistance to our customers in the Central Queensland/Emerald region.

You will be responsible for installing, fault-finding, and repairing various systems, including Dispatch, Argus, Provision, Pegasys, Minecare, and Digital Terrain Monitoring (DTM) systems.

• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they arise.
  
• Working autonomously and at times on remote mine sites.
  
• Building strong client relationships.
  
• Traveling regularly throughout Australasia as required.
  
• Collaborating with other teams to foster a positive work culture.
  

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 
  
• A Trade Qualification as an Electrician/Auto Electrician/Technician or equivalent.
  
• Proven experience in maintaining electrical/technical systems.
  
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  
• A commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Flexibility to work on different mine sites and projects.
  
• A high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  
• Accurate part and stock level management.
  
• Collaborating with all levels of support for any support issues.
  
• Accurately recording work performed in our Zendesk Ticketing system.
  
• Adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a culture of safety excellence.
  
• Actively participating in training and skill development programs.
