About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our professional consulting team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering software solutions and projects on time and within scope, while maintaining high quality standards.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be involved in coding, conducting code reviews to ensure quality, through to testing, maintenance and delivery. You will also be documenting software designs, processes, and procedures.

On a regular basis, you will be involved in the full project cycle aligned to Agile framework, participating in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the software development team. Additionally, you will support new joiners through mentoring, providing technical guidance, and actively engaging with stakeholders like product managers, developers, testers, and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven experience in full stack development, ideally in a consulting company.
  • Full stack developer with expertise in front-end skills like React 18, Node JS, Java, REST, CI-CD, and AWS services.
  • React experience is a must: ability to design and implement complex user interfaces using React, skilled in component-based architecture, state management, and React ecosystem tools.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create scalable, efficient, and maintainable web applications.
  • Proficient in implementing and customizing MUI components to match project-specific UI/UX requirements.
  • Experience in Java development for building and maintaining robust back-end services, APIs, and server-side applications.
  • Familiar with REST and SOAP API development.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work as a senior developer who could manage work independently.
