Job Title: Vehicle Support Specialist

About the Role

The Vehicle Support Specialist will work in the afternoon shift at our Lilydale Depot, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the depot yard.

This is a key role within our organization, requiring a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fuel buses (diesel) efficiently
  • Conduct Pre-Trip Inspections including fluid levels and tyre checks
  • Maintain a high standard for our fleet of vehicles on a daily basis, including internal cleaning of buses
  • Report any defected vehicles immediately
  • Wash vehicles externally in accordance with company specifications, meeting presentation expectations, including under chassis
  • Perform general yard maintenance duties
  • Maintain and update vehicle passenger signage and notices
Requirements
  • Current MR Licence or above preferred (for moving buses in the yard)
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team towards common goals
  • Pass a medical including drug and alcohol test
  • Demonstrate a track record for reliability
  • Possess own vehicle for travel to other locations when required
  • Be flexible to work additional hours
  • Be available to work weekends
