Australian Food Production Manager

Bega Cheese Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Professional to join our team in Canberra. As an integral part of our logistics operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of products across our warehouse.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you working collaboratively with our high-performing team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement change. With a focus on safety, service, productivity, and cost, you will be responsible for helping manage the route picking operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with national and site safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Becoming a high-performance team member through coaching, engagement, and effective communication
- Managing staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels
- Controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements
- Maintaining the timely despatch of products to meet customer order requested delivery dates and time windows
To be successful in this role, you will have hands-on leadership experience, ideally within a FMCG Supply Chain or fast-paced environment. You will also possess demonstrated problem-solving skills, the ability to think under pressure, and extensive computer skills – Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook knowledge.

We are offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
