Job Title: Casual Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Casual Technician. As a key member of our workforce, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks in both workshop and on-site environments.

In this role, you will work unsupervised, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work effectively in both workshop and on-site environments, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
  • To maintain accurate documentation in line with industry standards.
  • To promote and market our services, products and business solutions.
  • To assist fellow employees in a supportive manner, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
  • To ensure that your workspace is clean and tidy at all times, adhering to company expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fitter and Turner or Fitter Machinist qualification (Tradesmen or 4th Year Apprentice).
  • Able to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.
  • Must hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Must hold a Construction (White) Card.
  • Able to work shiftwork, weekends and Public Holidays as required.
  • Able to work in remote locations.
  • Able to climb ladders up to 50 meters.
  • Able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, set priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to work to tight tolerances.
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical.
