Technician - Fire Systems Specialist

As a Fire System Servicer, you will carry out routine and reactive servicing, testing, inspections, and repairs of fire protection systems across a range of commercial buildings. This work involves ensuring that all fire safety systems comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled maintenance, testing, upgrades, and installation of dry fire safety systems including:
- Fire alarms and detection systems
- Major fire indicator panels and evacuation systems
- Fire extinguishers and hose reels
- Emergency and exit lighting
Diagnose faults and carry out minor repairs. Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, such as AS1851, the Building Code of Australia (BCA), and site-specific requirements. Communicate professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams.
Promote and follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all.
About You:- Previous experience in fire protection servicing, building maintenance, or a related technical trade.
- Familiarity with fire system compliance standards including AS1851.
- Educational attainment or licenses relevant to fire industry qualifications.
Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
