Berry Howe Industries Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of high-quality truck bodies, specialist machinery, and precision machined parts for its customers.

The Role:

  • Assemble aluminium components in accordance with work instructions and drawings provided by supervisors and production staff.
  • Work in line with standard job builds and SOPs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, adhering to quality standards and time constraints.
  • Report broken or damaged machinery, ensuring proper tagging and removal from service.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required, adhering to specifications.
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government regulations.
  • Participate in staff consultation and communication, including Toolbox Talks and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment using physical and mechanical means.
  • Wear specialized protective equipment as necessary.
  • Perform general physical activities, including climbing, balancing, sitting, and walking.
  • Perform whole body movements, including twisting, squatting, kneeling, bending, and crawling.
  • Operate both handheld tooling and heavier machinery.
  • Work at height or in confined spaces.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified in a relevant industry.
  • Desirable: Health and Safety training.
  • Extensive fabrication experience.
  • Understanding of Safe Work Practices.
  • Good ability to communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail.
