About the role:
- We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Public Surgical Ward with specialties including Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery, Urology, Upper Gastrointestinal, General surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular surgery and Breast and Endocrine Surgery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working in a fast-paced environment to deliver quality patient-centred care.
- Supporting continuing education for staff through our education department and having clinical nurse educators on the ward.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Surgical Unit.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
- Previous experience within a private hospital setting is well regarded.
- Possession of a passion for delivering quality patient-centred care.
- Ability to manage shift work over 7 days.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary based on their years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Enterprise Agreement.
