Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Clinical Psychologist to work in a Christian private practice setting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those from Christian and wider populations. The role offers a high degree of professional autonomy, with the option to work on a part-time basis and increase hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality psychological treatment to clients, including those with mental health disorders and those seeking to integrate their faith into their therapy.
- Work collaboratively with a team of psychologists to deliver comprehensive care to clients.
- Develop and maintain a client base, with opportunities to work with a wide range of client issues.
- Participate in peer supervision and contribute to the development of the Christian endeavour.
Requirements:
- High standards of professional practice in psychological treatment.
- Desire and background to practice from a Christian perspective in professional psychological counselling.
- Passion to service the psychological needs of those living in Western Melbourne.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the development of the Christian endeavour.
- Eligibility to register with Medicare and own insurance.
