Head of IT Strategy

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Strategy Director to join our team at Michael Page. As a senior IT executive, you will play a key role in shaping our organisation's technology strategy and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the development of strategic plans, business cases, and RFPs to ensure they meet required quality and strategic standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise IT initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Lead the improvement of IT governance frameworks, manage IT budgets, and benchmark IT investments to ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Manage risk and compliance management, as well as lead vendor management efforts to ensure seamless partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms for IT performance and assume full CIDO responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years' operational experience working in IT, with at least 5 years' experience in IT leadership positions managing cross-functional project teams.
  • Expertise in IT strategic planning, including IT governance formulation, budget planning, and organisational change management.
  • Proven ability to increase operational efficiency and service delivery across multiple business units.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • An attractive, tax-free salary of around $150,000-$200,000 per annum.
  • The opportunity to work as second-in-command and 'step-up' to represent leadership as and when required.
