About the Role

The Edmund Rice Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and maintaining learning and social inclusion responses at the Davoren Park and Elizabeth Campuses. This includes planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging learning and teaching programs for young people in the middle and secondary phase of secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement class and individual student learning programs that meet legislative requirements.
  • Build learning programs that reflect the diversity within the classroom and design learning experiences that cater for individuals with specific needs.
  • Ensure young people are provided with a learning program that maximizes their outcomes through the development of annual Personal Plans for Learning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Flexible Learning Centre's objectives and planning.
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system in the Edmund Rice tradition. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, possess strong operational, organizational, and communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with young people.
