Job Title: Senior Hydrogeologist Leader

Are you a skilled hydrogeologist with a passion for leading teams and driving projects forward? Do you have expertise in groundwater modeling, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement? We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Principal Hydrogeologist to join our dynamic team as a leader.

Job Description:

As a Principal Hydrogeologist, you will be responsible for leading complex hydrogeological investigations and groundwater impact assessments. You will develop conceptual and numerical groundwater models, design and interpret aquifer testing programs, manage regulatory approvals, and prepare technical reports and peer reviews.

You will work closely with high-performing professionals on a range of environmental, infrastructure, mining, and water resource projects across Australia. Your strong leadership skills and ability to communicate complex ideas simply will enable you to mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead hydrogeological investigations and groundwater impact assessments
  • Develop and implement conceptual and numerical groundwater models
  • Design and interpret aquifer testing programs
  • Manage regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement
  • Prepare technical reports and peer reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8+ years' consulting experience in groundwater projects
  • Strong knowledge of WA regulatory frameworks and groundwater legislation
  • Experience with MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or similar modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
