Job Opportunity

The School of Health Sciences at UNSW Canberra is rapidly expanding its teaching and research efforts in health professional education programs. These programs have broadened the scope of our teaching effort, shaping the future Health workforce in Australia and beyond.

This position will be responsible for developing and delivering Behaviour Change/Mental Health content and Sports Psychology curricula in Health Professional Programs. The lecturer/senior lecturer will teach across multiple programs (disciplines of exercise, physiotherapy, dietetics, and pharmacy) and sports psychology within the Exercise Physiology program. Additionally, they will conduct high-quality research. We are open to appointing someone with either a combined teaching and research focus or an education focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver Behaviour Change/Mental Health content and Sports Psychology curricula.
  • Teach across multiple programs (disciplines of exercise, physiotherapy, dietetics, and pharmacy) and sports psychology within the Exercise Physiology program.
  • Conduct and publish high-quality research.

  • Expertise in Behaviour Change/Mental Health and Sports Psychology.
  • Strong teaching and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
