Overview\

We are seeking a skilled finance professional to join our vibrant team, contributing to the financial success of our hotel. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills across a range of financial functions, ensuring flexibility and growth within our Finance Department.\

Key Responsibilities:\

Accounts Receivable:
  • Process credit applications and manage accounts receivable with precision.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and debt collection.
  • Maintain accurate records and resolve debtor inquiries efficiently.
  • Verify credit card transactions and process payments accurately.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy and ensure proper authorization.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor information and process payments according to terms.
  • Conduct reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting practices.
  • Manage cash collections from hotel outlets.
  • Assist with end-of-month journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure secure cash handling practices.

Qualifications:\

  • Education: Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Night Auditor or Finance Officer, preferably in hospitality.
  • Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and financial software.
  • Competencies: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with strong communication skills.
