The Job DescriptionWe're on the hunt for an Environmental Consultant who's ready to roll up their sleeves and deliver contaminated land assessments that make a difference. You'll work closely with technical leads, regulators, and auditors to assess risk, manage sites, and influence major redevelopment projects across QLD and beyond.
You'll Be Doing Things Like:
Conducting preliminary and detailed site investigations (PSIs, DSIs)
Designing and interpreting sampling, analysis, and risk-based site assessments
Preparing remediation action plans and site management strategies
Developing Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) that hold water
Writing reports that are clear, sharp, and regulator-ready
Collaborating with clients, auditors, labs, and field teams
Guiding junior staff and contributing to a strong team culture
A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in contaminated land consulting
A solid grasp of NEPM and relevant QLD guidelines (ESR, DES, CRC CARE)
Fieldwork confidence and technical writing skills
Strong client communication skills and commercial awareness
An analytical mind and practical, solutions-focused approach
