About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Assets and Operations team in Ballina. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for delivering technical works related to energy Transmission and Distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application of Electrical Technician trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment.
  • Extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in High and Low Voltage switching and permit issuance.
  • A commitment to audits and safety processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
  • Implementation of enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
  • Drivers Licence
  • Qualified Supervisors Certificate
  • WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert
  • Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role
