Job Title: Construction Labourer/Gas Field Installer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled construction labourer/gas field installer to work in Newcastle and the Central Coast in NSW.

About the Role:

  • This is a challenging position that involves installing biogas wells following drilling, erecting manifold stations, placing and connecting flow lines to biogas wells, installing and filling J Traps, bedding of trenches, setting up and using laser levels, and butt/electro fusion welding.
  • The successful candidate will be required to support the national Biogas team, including leading hands, supervisors, and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install biogas wells following drilling and related processes.
  2. Erect manifold stations and ensure they are secure and functioning correctly.
  3. Place and connect flow lines to biogas wells, ensuring all connections are tight and secure.
  4. Install and fill J Traps, ensuring they are properly sealed and functioning as intended.
  5. Bedding of trenches, preparing them for piping and other infrastructure.
  6. Set-up and use laser levels to ensure accurate and precise measurements.
  7. Perform butt/electro fusion welding to join pipes and other equipment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of construction principles.
  • A team player with great work ethic, shows initiative, resilient, and committed with strong communication skills.
  • Fitness for work to perform the job role safely and competently.
