Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Wood Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Operations Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or control systems engineering, with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in the oil and gas or power industry. You will be proficient in the application of standards, processes, and procedures, and have a strong understanding of applicable codes and standards.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support, and will work to maintain a high level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of your work.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering from an accredited University, Masters (preferred)
- Minimum Experience: 6-10 years progressively more responsible pertinent experience in Oil and Gas and/or Power Engineering
- Role-Specific Skills and Knowledge: Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates, professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes, and procedures, and professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards
