About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team at Fairy Hills Kindergarten in Ivanhoe. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and helping them develop essential skills and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Early Childhood Teacher in developing and implementing educational programs that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Work collaboratively with families and the community to promote child development and well-being.
  • Foster a nurturing environment that encourages self-expression, creativity, security, independence, happiness, and achievement.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development focused on relational pedagogy and trauma-informed practice to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working in an early education and care setting, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to understand and respect the diversity of the community we serve.
