Key Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Parts Interpreter. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves interacting with customers, managing parts queries, and providing exceptional service.

About the Job:

This is a full-time opportunity working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required at penalty rates. The successful candidate will be rostered on call and will require full training.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level customer service to efficiently manage parts queries, requests, and quotes
  • Utilize analytical skills to review CAT resourcing for confirmation of correct part numbers to complete orders
  • Manage an efficient phone service, answering all calls and providing a professional customer experience
  • Perform administrative tasks, including cash management, receipting of payments, and following up on expiring quotations
  • Respond promptly to customer order status requests, ensuring lead times are effectively communicated
  • Identify opportunities to upsell parts, consumables, and services
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A proven track record of excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CAT and associated products, parts, and services is desirable
  • Forklift License desirable
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
