Job Description

You will play a critical role in enhancing risk management, improving processes, and strengthening controls across cutting-edge technology and security systems as a Technology and Security Auditor at Australian Unity.

You will work both independently and as part of a high-energy team to expand your scope to business operations, crafting solutions that drive genuine improvements and make a difference.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of critical processes, identifying and assessing risks and controls in line with AU GA methodology.
  • Elevate standards by ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Stay ahead of tech trends and apply your deep knowledge to enhance audits, delivering insights that benefit the entire organization.
  • Share findings with Line and Senior Managers through dynamic reports that highlight key issues, root causes, and actionable solutions.
  • Evaluate management's action plans and offer powerful, value-added recommendations.
  • Deliver high-quality audits within agreed timelines and budgets, showcasing your commitment to efficiency.
About You:
  • You have 5-8 years of internal auditing experience.
  • You are eligible in professional accreditation bodies (e.g., ISACA, ISC2, IIA) and committed to continuing professional development.
  • You are tech-savvy and appreciate IT risks in a computer-driven economy and rapid technology changes in areas of IT security and access, and general application controls.
  • You have well-developed and effective communication skills including a high standard of business report writing.
  • You understand and apply financial principles and grasp of business concepts.
  • You can work autonomously and within defined methodologies and timeframes.
