About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Construction Team at our Flag Ship Gold Coast Resort.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of expertise in volume building, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervising construction projects, with a strong understanding of the development process from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of construction on site, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Schedule and supervise contractors, subcontractors, labour, and equipment resources.
  • Manage and coordinate the site Labourers and Operators daily duties.
  • Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and design consultants.
  • Sourcing local trade contractors.
  • Attend to project and contract administration duties.
  • Advising on construction efficiencies and troubleshoot where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards.
  • Work within established project budgets and agreed timelines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Supervisor Licence essential and relevant qualification in Building & Construction.
  • A trade background and experience in high volume residential construction.
  • OH&S detailed understanding, qualifications even better.
  • A detailed understanding of the development process from design, approval, and construction delivery.
  • Local industry knowledge and established networks.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Excellent management and communication skills.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, someone who takes responsibility and delivers the agreed outcomes.
  • Calm and confident under pressure and able to adapt to challenging situations and embrace change.
  • Comfortable with problem-solving and the ability to share a vision and take others' ideas on board.
  • Previous experience with building software preferably Onsite Companion but not essential.
