Medical Professional with Excellent Customer Service Skills

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at Lifeblood. As a Donor Services Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Melbourne CBD Donor Centre.
About the RoleThis is a permanent part-time opportunity with 57 hours per fortnight available. The successful candidate will work across a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, supporting donors through their donation process and achieving collection targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and interviewing potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate
- Completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
- Setting up machines, tubing, and collection bags
- Inserting and removing needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
- Monitoring donors post-donation and assisting them to rebook for their next donation
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer-facing skills, a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
