Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Professional to fill the role of Registered Nurse at our prestigious aged care residence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to residents, encompassing planning, assessment, evaluation and delivery of care tailored to individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with compassion and empathy, fostering a welcoming atmosphere
  • Promote independence and self-reliance among residents
  • Collaborate effectively with the Director of Care, Clinical Care Coordinators and Facility Manager to achieve optimal resident outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • 1-2 years experience in Aged Care, with a proven track record of delivering quality care
  • Clear understanding of the 8 new quality standards in aged care
  • Strong passion for delivering high-quality care that exceeds expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

All applicants must be willing to provide a valid police check and undergo a pre-employment medical and drug test.

The successful candidate will be required to have a flu vaccination and Covid-19 vaccination in line with government direction.

In addition, candidates must be willing to participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure they remain up-to-date with the latest industry best practices.
