The Glennie School is an Anglican school for girls providing exceptional education to Kindergarten to Year 12 students with boarding from Year 5.

About the role:

We are seeking a passionate educator to join our team of dedicated teachers committed to delivering well-rounded education.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of secondary schooling in a girls educational environment and possess expertise with high-quality pedagogical practices.

This fixed-term, full-time position commences on a specific date until another specified date.

We are looking for a capable and dynamic teacher who supports the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus. The successful applicant must be supportive of the Anglican Ethos and comply with all state and legislative requirements.

About You:

Tertiary qualifications and current Queensland College of Teachers registration are essential.

Experience in delivering education content with a commitment to teaching excellence is required.

You should have a deep understanding of Instructional Principles, High Impact Teaching Strategies and visible thinking routines, and how to implement them in a classroom setting.

Supportive of innovative classroom practice and inspires within all students an appreciation of the subject.

You must be able to differentiate for a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girls.

Strong interpersonal skills enabling harmonious and positive relationships are necessary.

Demonstrate excellence in communication, organisation, and time management skills.

A willingness to continue to develop as a Teacher is desired.

Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety including mandatory reporting requirements is a must.
