We are seeking highly skilled and passionate anaesthetists to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical anaesthesia services of the highest standard to diverse patients, including trauma, paediatric, cardiothoracic, and neurosurgery cases.
- Engage actively in clinical support roles to improve performance and patient outcomes, promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in teaching, research, and quality assurance activities within the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, fostering excellence in anaesthetic care.
- Contribute to multi-centre research trials, collaborating with academic institutions and research centres to advance knowledge and best practices in anaesthesia.
- General Anaesthesia: Provide comprehensive services across various specialties, utilising expertise in advanced anaesthetic techniques and critical care management.
- Cardiac Anaesthesia: Candidates with recent fellowship or consultant practice in cardiac anaesthesia will be highly regarded, bringing valuable experience in perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients.
- Paediatric Anaesthesia: Applicants with experience in a tertiary paediatric centre are encouraged to apply, leveraging their skills in managing complex cases and providing high-quality care to neonates and children.
- Specialist medical registration or recognised overseas specialist qualification, ensuring compliance with national standards and regulations.
- Experience in anaesthesia, particularly in obstetrics, neurosurgery, or paediatrics, within the last 2 years, demonstrating proficiency in complex case management.
- Recent clinical exposure at a tertiary hospital standard, showcasing adaptability and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Fellowship with ANZCA (or equivalent) preferred for general anaesthesia, indicating advanced training and expertise in anaesthetic care.
- Expertise in trans-oesophageal echocardiography (for cardiac anaesthesia), enabling precise monitoring and optimal patient outcomes.
- Recent experience in neonatal anaesthesia (for paediatric anaesthesia), facilitating effective care for vulnerable patients.
