About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated HSEQ Coordinator to join our Perth team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits and subcontractor audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures.
  • Participate in and lead Toolbox Talks and training sessions to promote a safety culture.
  • Promote and drive the desired safety culture, values, and initiatives.
  • Partner with project managers and front-line supervisors to provide subject matter expertise and guidance.
  • Mentor and coach site leadership to manage and implement safety programs.
  • Coordinate WH&S training for relevant staff, including incident investigations, risk assessments, and internal audits.
  • Investigate and implement corrective actions for injuries and incidents.
  • Support project teams in incident management and assist injured workers with return-to-work responsibilities.
  • Administer and maintain WH&S data management systems.
  • Assist with major safety audits and ensure accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
  • Electrical background (highly desirable), trade, or construction background.
  • WHS qualifications (or ability to attain).
  • Experience in safety activities within a construction, service, or trade environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, including presenting to groups and developing cooperative working relationships.
  • Computer and technology literacy, including Office 365 and mobile/tablet-based apps.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • General Construction Industry Induction Card (white card).
