Insurance Senior Associate / Special Counsel (Public Liability)

The Team:

Our Insurance & Health team is led by 33 industry-leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space, our award-winning team is known for producing high-quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for prominent insurance industry clients, both locally and internationally. The principal heading up the team for this position is Colby Treasure.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our tight-knit public liability team in our Perth office. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of public liability matters for various clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone with:

  • previous defendant insurance experience, preferably in public liability;
  • the ability to manage their own file load;
  • strong client relationship-building skills with a focus on client service;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • the ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners;
  • a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
