We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our team at Healthscope. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in the delivery of physiotherapy services across our acute care areas. As a key member of the physiotherapy team, you will be instrumental in maintaining a high-quality service that meets the needs of our patients.

About the Role

This role will involve:

  • Maintaining a clinical caseload and providing expert physiotherapy care to patients;
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members;
  • Overseeing the physiotherapy service in ED and outpatients;
  • Participating in weekend and public holiday rosters;
Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA;
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical experience working in an acute care hospital;
  • Extensive experience working across a variety of acute, inpatient physiotherapy areas;
  • Demonstrated provision of excellent clinical care related to patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning, and contemporary evidence-based practice in physiotherapy;
  • Demonstrated ability and previous experience in providing leadership to a designated clinical area and department;
  • Demonstrated participation in driving service development and quality improvement within a physiotherapy department;
  • Ability to work with other senior staff and physiotherapy manager on issues such as workload and staff management and strategic planning;
  • Experience in providing supervision and mentoring to junior physiotherapy staff and students;
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organisation skills;
