About the Music Educator Position

This Music Educator role requires a creative and enthusiastic professional capable of delivering a comprehensive music education to students from Year 7 to 12. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various music genres and teaching practices, able to inspire and engage students across a wide age range.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music theory and performance to students, with a broad knowledge of different musical genres and instruments. They will also be expected to conduct school ensembles, choirs, or bands, and organise performances or musical events.

The Music Educator will be required to integrate technology into the music curriculum to enhance instruction and student learning experiences. They will also need to possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and contribute to the school's cultural community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach music theory and performance to students from Year 7 to Year 12
  • Conduct school ensembles, choirs, or bands
  • Organise performances or musical events

Requirements:
