Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing Veteran clients' rehabilitation and well-being needs.
  • Creating and implementing individual rehabilitation plans to promote a successful transition from the Australian Defence Force to civilian life.
  • Coordinating return-to-work plans, including vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations, work trials, and job placement, as well as non-return-to-work plans, such as engagement in treatment and psychosocial activities.
  • Providing consultancy services specific to your allied health discipline, including ADL assessments, vocational assessments, worksite task analysis, training, and employer consultancy.
  • Liaising with key multidisciplinary clinical stakeholders.
  • Completing professional written reports.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counselling. Other Comcare-accredited Allied Health professionals will also be considered.
  • Accreditation with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant professional bodies.
