Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to join our dedicated Maintenance team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain and repair a range of fixed and portable equipment, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery.
  • Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems.
  • Providing electrical assistance to remote receival sites in the Avon zone.
  • Interpreting electrical schematics and genset powered assets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence. A strong safety focus, commitment to safe work practices, and ability to work in high grain dust concentrations are essential.

Desirable Skills:
  • Work at heights, confined spaces, EWP, and forklift licence.
  • Ability to navigate computerised maintenance systems.
  • Hazardous area installation certification.
