This role involves showcasing cheese knowledge, displaying and selling local and international products at our store.

As a Cheese Department Team Member:

  • Develop a keen understanding of cheeses to create visually enticing displays that encourage customers to sample and learn about them
  • Maintain displays in an attractive and fresh condition
  • Cut, wrap and price various types of cheese

We seek applicants with experience in retail, hospitality, production or cooking who are available during the daytime. You will need:

  • Previous experience working with cheese is highly desirable
  • A friendly attitude and strong communication skills for excellent customer service
  • Energy, initiative and a positive mindset, as well as a passion for working with food and people
  • The ability to adhere to company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and workplace health and safety
  • Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend
