Overview of the Role:
- Cyber security specialists are in high demand due to the increasing need for organizations to protect themselves from cyber threats. This role involves working at the intersection of cyber strategy, governance, risk, and technical execution.
The primary objective of this position is to identify and address potential risks that could impact an organization's operations and reputation. To achieve this, the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GRC and cyber strategy, as well as project management skills.
In terms of specific responsibilities, this role will involve conducting assessments using various frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001 to identify risk and control gaps. The successful candidate will also be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide cyber risk programs, including risk registers, treatment plans, and executive-level dashboards.
Furthermore, the candidate will be required to write tailored policies, standards, and procedures that are both compliant and easy to adopt. They will also need to guide clients through audits and regulatory reviews, and provide advice on cyber risk posture and GRC strategies to senior stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with GRC and cyber strategy
- Experience leading projects, with good customer management skills
