Academic Program Director

We are seeking an experienced Academic Program Director to lead our educational team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing academic programming tailored to meet the needs of all young learners under our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement academic programs that align with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Provide comprehensive support to educators in implementing these programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards while fostering an environment conducive to child-led discovery
  • Foster the professional growth of team members, empowering them to actively contribute to children's educational journeys with confidence
  • Cultivate strong relationships with families and educators, facilitating open communication and collaboration
  • Maintain meticulous adherence to industry standards and requirements, striving for excellence in all aspects of our educational practices
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • VIT and/or WWCC
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and relevant industry standards
  • Previous experience as an Academic Program Director desirable or a minimum 2 years in a leadership role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior knowledge, experience or training in child development is desirable but not essential
