Job Title: Trainer And Assessor

This is a casual position offering excellent hourly rates and a professional team culture, as well as the opportunity to develop your career with an established organisation.

We are seeking individuals to deliver training for Certificate III Individual Support and support our students along their learning journey in QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA.

This role will suit those who are passionate about nursing and developing others. You should have demonstrated experience working within the Aged Care environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured, flexible, and relevant training sessions to assist learners achieve their learning goals, facilitate critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Support students to meet their learning goals by providing tailored guidance and feedback.
  • Facilitate the student experience while on clinical placement, ensuring a smooth and effective learning process.
  • Identify students with special learning requirements and develop individualised learning plans to meet their needs.
  • Provide regular formative and summative feedback to students to facilitate their professional and educational growth and development.
  • Document and monitor students' progress throughout their training.

About This Role:

To be successful in this role, you will be a self-motivated individual who is passionate about both Nursing and Education, with the ability to effectively deliver theory and practical training.

Requirements:

  • A registered or enrolled nurse qualification.
  • A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Aged Care.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A team player with the ability to work autonomously.
  • A current National Police Check.
  • A current drivers licence and reliable transport.
  • The willingness to travel interstate and internationally if required.
