As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service experiences to our customers at Instron Asia. You will install, maintain, and repair our equipment at customer sites, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:- Perform installation, repair, retrofit, and preventative maintenance services at customer sites in accordance with applicable quality management system/accreditation documents.
- Provide training to customers on the safe and effective use of Instron equipment.
- Conduct site visits to verify that equipment is functioning correctly and make any necessary adjustments.
- Travel extensively throughout the region to provide field support services.
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including documentation of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the materials testing industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with software tools used for documenting service activities.
