Senior Mechanic Job Description
This role involves leading a team of mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and inspection of e-scooters and e-bikes. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently and that high-quality standards are maintained. They will also be involved in the development and implementation of warehouse management strategies.
Key Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience with light vehicles or electrical systems.
- Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 28-35kg regularly.
- Smartphone (Apple or Android, 2018 or newer).
- Experience in stock planning and management.
- Leadership experience, working alongside mechanics.
- Process-driven with experience defining warehouse procedures.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in shared mobility and growth mindset.
